Hi, rather than reviving my old classes which had a formal lesson plan and such I'm going to offer much more casual classes and lessons.
I've been an Utau user since 2010 and know the ins and outs of otoing all recording methods, tuning, and more. I have taught classes previously with good success and hope to make it a regular occurrence.
Even if you think you know Utau you can probably still pick up a thing or two!
The lack of formality lets us be more flexible.
I will be available to teach for the next four days. Both 1-on-1 and in groups. I'll also review your current otos and give you a run down of how you may improve!
Classes will be held via Google Hangouts or Skype, whichever works for the most people.
Requirements:
You must speak decent English, I only know English and expect everyone to be able to understand on another in groups.
You should have a microphone. If I am going over recording techniques then it will be very important to be able to create your own samples on the spot for better explanation.
You HAVE to participate. If you are silent the whole time then I don't know if you are listening. Try to ask questions.
Text communication isn't ideal, it breaks focus to have to read it and takes a lot of time.
Please use push to talk or mute your mic if your room is noisy, if you are making noise then the communication will be garbled.
Just because you think you know something doesn't mean you can leave and come back or interrupt and complain. It is disruptive for everyone else.
So basically, be there, use your voice, don't be rude.
That's it! Post here in you are interested. I will probably be streaming my screen via YouTube so everyone can see what I'm doing. People who are not in the class can watch too.
