It has been a hot minute since I was last active in here...over 10 years ago, sheesh! I'm old!
Basically, I've been rediscovering UTAU and I'm keen to finally give Aqua the VCV voicebank she deserves, and then hopefully, eventually a full english bank. I did actually record a VCV bank back in 2015, but the FRQ files on a few of the samples were buggy. Unfortunately at that time, I couldn't fix them, as I was a mac-only user and UTAU synth, as many of you will be aware, has no FRQ editor plugin.
Now that OpenUTAU is available (and apparently has a mac port? Sweet!), I was curious if there is any form of FRQ editing native to the program as I may attempt to salvage the VCV bank from 2015 as a sort of 'tester'. However, I've no clue if openUTAU has this sort of capability.
It's worth me noting I do have access to a Windows PC now, so worst comes to worst, I could always just download the FRQ editor plugin for regular old UTAU. But if I have to avoid the whole putting my PC into Japanese thing, I'd really appreciate not having to do that.
Anything to sort of bring me up to speed with things would be hugely appreciated!
