Long-time vocal synth fan + user rejoining the community!

Hi everyone, I'm Jupiter!! I use he/him pronouns and I'm 28. I first got into Vocaloid around 2007 and made my first Utau in 2010 and had been a member of this forum community under a different username on the old website before the host changed (so I don't have an old account on here). I've spent a lot of time away from actually using vocal synths so unfortunately I don't have much to show for the 15+ years I've been around the community, aside from some covers I made using Fuiro a couple years ago when her voice bank released.

I unfortunately no longer have the files of my old Utauloids but I'm hoping to make a new one at some point in the future. Currently I've been more focused on Vocaloid but I really want to use more than one type of vocal synth in my work!! As for the voice banks I have, I have Piko Utatane, Fuiro, VY2V5, v4flower, and Gakupo Complete V4!

Aside from music, I also do art and writing. I've also studied 3D modeling but I don't currently have anything to share for that!

If you wanna get back into utau, there have been some recent resamplers and such that make the software as high quality or even better than vocaloid. I'd also recommend getting Mine Laru as an easy to use and high quality voicebank (it's also a furry utau, which might be appealing to you as well).

Omg yes some of the new resamplers I've heard sound so nice, I definitely need to do more research though. Seeing furry utaus around is also super fun!! Despite my sona I'm like. Only vaguely a furry lolol but I love the variety thats out there

I'm so glad that people are still showing up new, for a while there I was worried utau would end up going extinct haha. And yesss 3D is so much fun, I've got to do more!! I originally learned Blender to do MMD but then I've never really done anything with MMD oops gotta change that!

Thank you!! Honestly 3D isn't super hard to get started, though it does get to be a lot pretty quick. I'm hoping to make custom models of all of the voice banks I use eventually with my own versions of their designs instead of just using typical MMD models so my MVs have my own style!!
