Putting a voicebank directly into your UTAU folder can be a hassle, especially for newer users. To make their lives easier, you can format your voicebank to be a .UAR file. This is sort of like an executable file which installs an UTAU for you -- No dragging into the voices folder or into UTAU. To do this, first isolate your voicebank in a folder. Then proceed to create a .TXT file named "install.txt". In this, the contents should be:
type=voiceset
folder=<Name of Voicebank Folder>
contentsdir=<What Shows Under the Voice Folder>
description=<Small description of the vocals for your UTAU>
Save that and put it with the isolated voicebank. Then, highlight the folder and the .TXT file and send to .ZIP. Then, edit the file extension to be .UAR, and you are done!
