Yes, that's exactly what I did but it's still only giving me mojibake. Changing the format of the generated edited-oto does fix some of the kana but some still remain mojibake.

When I try and use this I get the aliases in mojibake and random kanji even though I have my computer set to japanese locale. I've tried saving the oto in multiple formats.
