a weird question about openutau's pronunciation

I've noticed that openutau will pronounce hiragana letters using roman alphabet. For example, instead of pronouncing "i" as "い”, it pronounces it as the roman letter "I". Same with "て". Is there a way to fix this? Sorry if I got the roman alphabet thing wrong
