are you supposed to roll your r's while making a japanese utau?

so i keep downloading japanese utaus and they always don't roll their r's , is it mandatory or offensive ?

i honestly don't know at this point.

its not mandatory or offensive (not sure how it could be offensive tbh) but the r in japanese is like a really soft d/ a mix of r and, and when i recorded vcv, i noticed that i tended to roll my rs a bit even when i didnt mean too, i think its just very easy to make the mistake lol

if im not incorrect, the japanese R is pronounced like how you would say the T in the word butter, could be incorrect since i'm nowhere close to fluent but that's what i remember when recording
