Literally just downloaded UTAU yesterday.

To be honest, I don't really know anything about UTAU. I've read and watch some of the tutorial ofc, so I understand the basic knowledge, such as: Voicebank, UST, The voicebank type Like CV or CVVC, and etc. But I don't really know anything to do or where to start.

Can you please give me some advices directed towards a complete beginner?
It doesn't have to be anything technical or specific.
Sharing about your creative process or tips and things that you thought important to learn/master as a starter would be great.
Recommendation for which and what voicebank to use would be very helpful too.

Thank you in advance!

Start with using different voicebanks before trying to make one.
This will really help inform what attributes you are more likely to use in a bank, rather than creating something standardized just for the sake of standardization!

Mixing can create completely different tones from the same bank, so make sure you're really listening to the voice's output from Utau/Open Utau!

Creating USTs/USTXs is not aggressively difficult, it just takes patience inside of standard Utau.
Open Utau is much more friendly on this part!

English and other non-phonetic languages are... beefy.. to say the least.
The individual recording "Languages" of English (I.E. Arpasing, XSampa, VCCV etc.) are relatively intuitive, but it certainly helps to familiarize yourself with the individual phoneme sounds before attempting to convert or create a UST!

The last thing, PLEASE don't hesitate to reach out to an active member!
This community is pretty darn supportive, and as long as you're respectful and genuine you'll get a good response!

Happy Utau-ing!

Thanks for the Tip!!!

I'll start by adding more voice bank and just try learn some stuff with it then.

I'll be sure to post more question if the needs surface in the future.
Thank you for answering!
