Chorus Project
Based upon a project on the 'old' utaforum and all the projects that have to do with 'trading'. I just wanted to try and merge them together while adding to a few spots. ovo
I've been wanting to do a chorus or two (I still remember that Mr. Music chorus I tried doing a while ago.), but I've never really gotten around to it. There's more reasons to it, but I thought that doing a group project on a multitude of choruses would be cool. The more the merrier and the better the outcome, amiright?
And I also felt it'd be interesting to sort of take a whole big group and then split it into smaller groups that will work with UTAUs that are not their own. So there could be several more choruses. Seeing as I
February is coming to a close soon, so that kind of gives us extra time to work on an April theme. The reason why the first group of choruses won't be in March is because if we're working on a March project, then things probably wouldn't get done until the end of the month. By then, it would kind of be too late, right?
As an idea, maybe all the choruses could get submitted to a certain person and they can manage it on a seperate channel on YT? Either that, or I can just stick to uploading all the choruses here. =v=
But anyways, since this is a bit of a large project, I'll just get straight to some of the basics. I might be missing a thing or two.
- To join in on the project you must submit one of your own UTAUs. Either that or ask a friend if you can use their own. However, you can only submit one. It's just so the numbers of UTAUs and people in a group can be as even as possible.
- For each month there'll be a set of songs to choose from that go with the theme. You are signing up for the song to work on, though. Not for which one your UTAU will be in.
- There's a limit to how many people can join in to work on a certain song. I'll try to keep things updated, but check posts before signing up for one, m'kay?
- Songs for each theme will be suggested and voted on before the actual month begins so that everyone can get there say in on what's what. Theme's will be voted on first, though, for obvious reasons.
- Try to suggest a song that has a UST to go along with it.
- The UTAUs each group works with will be randomly generated. The idea is to use UTAUs that aren't your own while trying to boost your skills at UTAU.
- In groups, jobs could be arranged accordingly (You don't have to do it this way, I'm just stating the obvious.):
-Mixer
-UTAU Voice Renderer
-Person Who Makes the Videos
- Be creative with the video and the way you submit the chorus! Originality is a great thing to have and it's always a pleasure to see something new.
- Every once in a while there can be a chorus project made as a whole group where everyone joins in and does something. No separate, little groups.
- Depending on the number of people, the amount of songs that can be chosen from could be random.
- When you sign up, you're only signing up for the month. You don't have to feel obligated to join in on every single chorus.
Here's some ideas for themes:
- Love (Like the 'Happy' kind.)
- Love (Like the 'Forbidden' kind.)
- Love (Like the 'Yandere' kind.)
- Friendship
- Dark (Just something along the lines of 'disturbing'.)
- Sad
- Peaceful (You know, the songs that just make you feel at ease.)
- Intense (Fast-Paced)
- *any type of music genre/rock/pop/ect.*
- Anything else you people can think of. ovo

When signing up, please submit some ideas! You don't really have to, but it's highly encouraged if you can add to this project. Things might not make sense so far, but I'll try to flesh things out as time goes on. And also start voting on a theme. I want to see what the majority wants first, then we can vote on songs. ovo
- Currently, we are voting for a theme for July! The voting will end on the 25th and then we'll pick the first few songs associated with that theme and finish with that around the end of the month. Try to vote while you're submitting your UTAUs, please. -
