Oh gooosh ; w ; I won't know how to handle that. I hope I'm not swamped by like, pedos, though OTL Last time i was at a con, I had middle aged men come up to me and be like, "HEY BABY FACE. I HAVE A VAN. AND IT'S FILLED WITH NICE ANIMUS STUFF." And I was like, "; A ; DAAAAAAAAAAAD." Because apparently I'm 15 but I look and sound like a tall five year old -flail flail flail- Oh goodness... Tangent, I really should stop rambling...

Even though someone did approach me at Comic Con (the one we're talking about), I'm sure you won't be swamped by pedos (unless you count all of the pedo-bear cosplayers XD) I'm kind of the opposite ;-; I'm rather tall, so I kind of look like a short older teenager, but my face is so baby-like, I could pass off for twelve... and then my voice is deep, too. No one knows my age until I tell them ._.

Candy, that's sorta like me :D I'm 5'5", but I'm petite boned... And apparently have the face of a five year old, so I look really young OTL
I always feel like if I'm 'too tall' for a character, my face makes up for making me seem shorter/younger.

I'm the same height as you, actually :3 All the characters I dress as are older than me (except for Crona, I guess), so I usually compensate with my sort-of tallness :T

:D Aha, yeah, I always pick characters who are either a few inches taller or shorter than me, it's kinda funny actually.
But we both compensate with something about ourselves :D which is cool beans.
And do you know what I just realized...? For this con, I got SO relieved. I won't be wearing like, two petticoats of DOOM (I usually just wear Lolita to cons, since it's easier for me to put an outfit together), just a skirt. No petticoats. Just a skirt with undershorts. Oh gosh, going to the bathroom is going to be 10x easier now.

At my last convention, I wore three inch heels ;-; When I got home, my feet were basically dead... since I'm probably going to go in normal clothes and a wig, I'm glad I don't have to kill my feet again~ Cool beans, indeed~

I do the same thing! >< It's almost as if it's impossible for me to like a character if I'm the same age as/look similar to them OTL

Also, skirts + bathroom = NO

I remember, when I was i-Con this year, my petticoat just like akjfkj fell off in the bathroom and it took me 15 minutes to get back on. I came out and my friend's dad elbowed my friend and said, "See, I told you she'd take a long time. With that fluffy thing and all." OTL I it was pretty embarrassing.
And once, for like, 30 minutes, I walked around Anime Boston in normal clothes ; w ; It was so comfy. it was heaven. Then I went back to my hotel room and got changed into cosplay OTL

...That's actually a really good idea ovo I can't believe I never realized I could just go in costume for a while and then change out of it... -3- As you can see, I'm very oblivious OTL

Ahaa, I was only out of it because the hotel iron had something NASTY on the bottom of it, and when I went to go iron my cosplay... The nasty thing ironed onto my cosplay. I freaked. So I headed to the cosplay repair station, and I re-positioned one of the iron ons on it, (I was ironing since I had to iron an iron on back on) and applied it with crazy glue. It was a NIGHTMARE.

Once, I put my costume on backwards by accident ;-; I walked around like that, without realizing it. And then, one time I forgot one glove in my car, and my mom drove off with it... I don't have any nightmare stories, really :s

ಠ_ಠ and home was 9 hours away. So I just walked around without my hat. Derp.

And backwards? Ugh ; A ; must have sucked.

But I hope you can make it to the UTAU meetup at comic-con (I'm assuming there's gonna be one, lol, since this thread is here). ; A ; you're like. Super awesome.

It only sucked because my mom had made the costume mostly from scratch, and she was all "ASFAFDF YOU WORE IT BACKWARDS!?" I actually hadn't realized until she pointed it out :I I was at school, so no one would have known who I was anyway... OTL

I have people counting on me to be there, so I'm most likely going to come :D I'm excited to meet you, too! You're SIMPLY FABULOUS~

MsStarryDreams, if you really needed to, you could try ebay (or amazon? I have no idea how that one works though OTL) and look for them there? I found a bunch, but a lot were a bit expensive. The first ticket I saw for Saturday was $81, and that was on cheapest first! Plus it was an auction, so it's bound to get at least a little more expensive...
