Creating a main site for my Uauloid Creations

ok, so i'm doing this project called the "Utauloid Creations". Basicaly I create utauloids(Voice banks) (which oddly enough I seem to have a good knack for) for people. I'm taking in free commissions right now, but plan to charge later (i'm not skillful like littlekuribo on VA so yea :P ).

I used to use webs.com but now it's just so different from what I remember, and I cant even find the "forum" thing @.@ (where your site can have a forum.

So for my question, what site would be best for this that is free and a little easy to use? Plus how can I get myself more noticed, I would post more works, but just posting NeeNeeko-chan wont get me very far at all :/

Popular ones are Wix & Weebly. A lot of people are using Tumblr to make sites, too (which I totally support).

Getting more "noticed" is a tedious subject to explain. I'm gonna be frank, the UTAU community is getting larger & larger & it's getting harder & harder to become more known. If you're in this solely for popularity, leave now. That being said, if you want some fans, use others' UTAUs, make/post some UTAU art, make USTs if you can, improve your own UTAUs as best as you can, & learn how to tune your covers. It's also important to be an active, contributing member of sites where UTAU users are (Youtube, Soundcloud, Tumblr, Deviantart).

thanks, i'm not in it for the popularity (though that does sound nice). I'm more for honing my (and yes this is stupid) "new found skills" by doing it this way and pushing myself. lol

Actually that doesn't sound stupid at all

Honing your skills is a great thing to do! And I know lots of users are really nice and are usually happy to help.

However, there are some users who are generally just plain nasty and I would try to steer clear of them :/

thank you very much, I tend to down-size myself and my skills a lot, and it usually ends up me being too scared to do anything. After I found my new knack in the UTAU I made a promise not to down -size myself this time. I'm going to work really hard on this project and create Utauloids that everyone will love and appreciate, with the highest quality VB and works. I don't have the best equipment now, but hopefully after some donations and commissions, I'll be able to get some better stuff and make some real works of art! (or Utauloids :P )

You can also do projects in groups (for example a group like Yukailoid Productions). I'm still trying to make an all male group called Project Sprite.

They don't mean a place to upload things.... I don't think they do

I think what they're talking about is a home page to hold information and downloads and such.
