In my opinion, this plugin (downloadable through the url in the video's description) is much easier to install and use than hanakago. Just drop it into the plugins folder and you're good to go - provided you open up the included setting.ini file and change the utau and voice directories to where you actually keep utau.exe and your voice folder on your computer before using it.
Now here's the fun part - learning how it works. Forgive my handwriting.
But obviously just staring at a screenshot won't do much - I say experiment with it a bit and click those notes in different places and patterns, see how they affect the dialogue that you type in.
Clicking on the button I marked with ??? causes a little message that translates as "[insert dialogue here] will be remembered" to pop up. If you click the button again without changing the dialogue an error message pops up, which says "[insert dialogue here] has been remembered already". I honestly can't tell you what practical purpose this serves, though.
