Hiragana turns into dots

Hi,

when I type hiragana into the lyrics box they show up untill I press enter. After that they turn into dots.

My computer always displays Japanese just fine, and UTAU is running in AppLocale.

Thankful for help. :-_-:

It's an OS issue. IME input is troublesome for not-UNICODE programs run with AppLocale.


If you can't change to full Japanese locale (best option) and you don't plan on using only romaji (very recomended if running AppLocale) you could try to write the Japanese text in an external UNICODE program -like Wordpad- and copy-paste the kana into the lyric box. But not sure if it'll work well at all.
