How do I save work and turn them into mp3?

I've been working on a sort of teaser for my utau before I release the voicebank so how do save it and use the saved file to make an mp3. and what do I save it as.

At the top menu, go to Project>Render wav File... and save with whatever name you want it. It will be in .wav format so dump it into audacity or some other sound editing program and export as .mp3 if you really need it in that different format.
