How do you feel about the first voicebank you made?

My first reaction after finishing "Kawaii Kasane": OMG!!!!!!!!!!1one I MADE MY FIRST UTAU! SHE'S SO AMAZING! SHE'S RELATED TO TETO, DEFOKO AND RITSU! SDSHSILHDLSDKFL

Welp, I was embarressed enough that I deleted all my songs from over a year ago.

They were REALLY bad. This is the oldest song I kept, it would've been...in March, 4 months after I started.

I thought it was good at the time, I swear. I was so proud of how low i'd gotten my voice.

I recorded it on my tablet microphone. Which, in fact, i'm still using. But I record it in a pretty sound proof closet now, and figured out how to hold it differently.

Also, It has two microphones, and I may have broken the one that records background noise because I thought it was an sd card slot. XD

well I thought i had a deep voice for a girl till i recorded my voice and put it into utau boy i was wrong.... she came out high pitch not like miku of course thank goodness xD it's like i can't even go to g-8 without her sounding like she's dying....but i still love her though. so i was wondering what was your first reaction on hearing your very first utaus voice.

Lol when I first heard my utau's voice I had a varied reaction. First thought was yay making an utau is a greater feeling than having a child XD So I put her straight into the program and played something. I was like,"This sounds a lot like me 0-0" and then,"She sounds really good!" I had the first reaction because I didn't expect her to actually sound like me lol and the second because a lot of people say that laptop mics are extremely bad and will make you sound muffled or something, but mine works great! ) (More understandable than Defoko;^^

"wow this is so amazing I actually got it to work !!" I was a kid confused as to how utau worked so having a choppy cv was better than nothing.

The first-ever UTAU I ever made had a loud and rather nasally voice, even though I recorded them with a soft voice, much to my surprise.

"Wow, she sounds like a straw" is all that I could think the first time I made an UTAU. She struggled with notes that were G4 and above which made her sound even more like a straw. The quality was actually decent though and back then I was proud with it,even though now I realise I had no idea what I was doing. She doesn't even sound like she's speaking Japanese with some of the random mispronounced sounds(although somehow the r sounds are not butchered even though all I got told was it sounds like dlee). Her demos are still on the Internet and when it was on YouTube it was the first video of mine to get over 100 views.

I dunno if I count since my first VB was released last Feb 13, but I'm super proud of it because I had great teachers *holds up @mallowkey *
(My third VB, on the other hand, is a bit meh because I can't do high notes huhu)

i'm pretty impressed tbh at how she sounded my second time re-recording the first pitch. i'm a little upset at how hard my T consenants are but then i look at Yokune Ruko's male bank and feel a tiny bit better but not by much

I felt happy and somewhat surprised when i heard my voice as a VB, "Is this my voice? For sure? Really???"
At first i was worried if the VB came out too quiet since i recorded it quietly, but apparently UTAU made it louder so i felt relieved
I then showed it to my little sis, she was amazed and said it was better and didn't sound like me.
Maybe it's because of my mic...
