How i can record a "Hatsune Miku Append V2" Like voicebank set?

I've been thinking about recording a voicebank set like Hatsune Miku VOCALOID2, with the Dark, Soft, Sweet, Vivid, Solid and Light appends in addition to the original voice. Any tips on how to achieve the tone of the appends? In what format should I do it? I'm new to recording appends and my attempts have been mediocre. I really appreciate your help.

Format doesn't really matter. CVVC is quick.

Dark: Sad, a little lower than Original
Soft: Breathy, more mature tone. It actually works really well as a death growl bank as well, if you really whisper. However, this depends on how good your mic is.
Sweet: Like soft, but more nasal and high-pitched.
Vivid: Kind of accented? Miku Vivid is really hard to explain, but it seems more expressive and voice-acted.
Solid: Pretty similar to a Kire voicebank in its middle pitch. Miku Solid sounds lower and more mature.
Light: A mix between Sweet and Soft. Higher pitched.

Edit: Some other appends not done by Vocaloids are Edge (vocal fry), Growl and Masculine/Feminine. Growl banks are really hard to do without hurting your voice, same with screamo/power banks.

Which one do you think I should start with?
