Is it possible to use setparam's CV oto generator and make a few tweaks?

Hi! Beginner UTAU user here.

Recently, I heard that CV voicebanks are recommended for beginners, although... i really suck at otoing and my notes sound bad haha

However, I thought of it's possible that setparam's cv oto generator is useful and just needs some tweaks. I wanna know if it's helpful or not. (I wanna hear people's thoughts about it so i can use it as a more helpful technique in the future.)

Also, in addition, I would like a good and beginner friendly guide to otoing CV voicebanks. So if you have any tutorials that are useful and definitely would recommend, please leave your tutorials below. Thanks!

This is a step by step beginner guide for making your first CV voicebank. It provides a specific reclist and explains how to configure the samples. The method is a bit different from older tutorials, but there's less guesswork involved, which makes it much easier.

Seconding what Kiyoteru said, also, otoing isn’t really an art form and once you learn how to do it right then it’s super easy. Tedious, yeah, but easy. It’s like mixing: one size doesn’t fit all, but it’s pretty much tweaking the basic formulas to your specific voicebank.
If you learn how to oto CV and VC then you can pretty much do any voicebank style, spare C + V. Yin’s Oto Tutorial is a great website for that, but it’s not as beginner friendly as Salem’s tutorials.
