Is there a way to record a VB in Audacity?

I tried once but confused cuz well... I can't play audio on Audacity while recording, but I need to use guideBGM to keep my timing and consistent key.
And I need Audacity cuz I want to remove the right channel and turn the audio into mono to be compatible to UTAU, cuz my right channel is having static noise cuz I use a karaoke mic with a converter to 3.5 jack to plug into my laptop directly.

I mean, you can try just playing the audio in something other than audacity if you need it.

Wait...
Audacity can play the guideBGM when I press record, now I need to do a workaround on the delay.

Or maybe I should try Voicemeeter Banana, but idk which site is the real one cuz I don't want to get a malware.
Cuz it has 2, vb-audio and voicemeeter .com.

Wait- both are official websites...
Maybe I should retry OREMO again...
But with Voicemeeter.

I've recorded all of my vbs in audacity with no issues, which is why im scratching my head. Make sure your audio output device is set to the correct one in there, I know sometimes it doesn't pick up what's defaulted on your system settings.

I recommend you use RecStar on your phone instead.
Welp, I'm switched to a tablet cuz my old phone is too small for my fingers. Sadly the mic on that thing is sucks, sounds as you're in a phone call. While on my old phone, it sounded good.
