Megurine Luka V2

I found Megurine Luka's V2 for a really cheap price (I can actually afford it!), but before I even start actually considering getting her I need to know: Is she good for beginners?

I've honestly only used a few trials of other Vocaloids, which are: Kaai Yuki, Hiyama Kiyoteru, Nekomura Iroha, SF-A2 miki, MEIKO V3 POWER, and Mayu.

Also, is it possible to use the disc version on my laptop (with no disc drive)? Or would I have to use a computer that has one? (Would I be able to put her voicebank on a flash drive and install her on my laptop is what I'm asking, since I have no clue if that had made sense)

I've never used Luka V2, but I can tell you you definitely CAN install Vocaloids from a USB/flash drive as long as it's got a big enough storage space. My laptop doesn't have a disk drive either so I've always had to install Vocaloid with a USB.

Okay, thanks! That's been my main question, as I've never gotten an answer to it.

You'll need a laptop you can put the disc in, first.
You'll copy all of the files on the disc to your USB stick.
You'll put the USB stick into your laptop ((whichever one you want to install Luka on.))
Look for a file called setup.exe. Run it as admin and she should install for you.

No problem. I'm glad I could be of assistance.
If you run into problems after getting her and you need help with installation, feel free to ask me.

So I got MEIKO V3 instead, and when I was copying the files, one of them wouldn't copy; the data2 one.
