Ok, so. I go to youtube for all my Vocaloid songs, right? Not a big deal, lots of us do, and there are a lot of respectable NicoNico uploaders.

Well, don't you hate it when you stumble across a video with bad or missing information?
One that has the wrong Vocaloid on it, or the wrong artist, or what have you?

See Example:
[Vocaloid] Gumi & Luka ~ Happy Synthesizer

One of the top searched for "vocaloid gumi"

Claims to be Luka and Gumi, but is OBVIOUSLY Nico Nico Singers.

And now I want to know who the actual singers are so I can credit them!

Any other examples of this? And how do we fix it?

It's easy:

1) Don't start a campaing against them. That won't fix a thing but make everything worse.
2) Be polite and send a PM making a correction and providing the sources.

To the readers of this post:
Please, do not post samples of people having mistakes on their video descriptions. That will only lead to a pretty poisonous thread. I am sure that if you have found a video like this in UTAU, VOCALOID, or utaite communities, you will be mature enough to send PM give them the proper information.

I have done this in the past and no one was harmed in anyway. Sometimes uploaders appreciated the fact they were corrected, since some were new users/reuploaders.

Aleks; please do not start a "Let's point out" campaign in the forum.

I agree, the way to fix this misinformation is to politely inform the creator of the video privately, and let them fix it, or leave a comment.
