Multiple VBs in the same ust?

I would like to try and use a hypothetical UTAU (and their append) in the same .ust so they sound more expressive, how do you do this? I've google searched it and it hasn't come up with anything, and there's no plugin that allowed it either (as far as I've looked).

I don't want to use them in seperate .usts, being able to hear the transition between maybe a power append with a soft append would be more realistic.
In case anyone wants audible examples, I mean like how people have managed to do this with Ritsu (Seven Colored Morning has his normal VB with his CV-VC, Yuragi and Lost Destination use more than two and the latter uses all of them :holy--

There are two ways you could do this that I know of.
Both are pretty time consuming though.

1) You could combine all the voicebanks you want to use into one folder, & set them with prefixes or suffixes to use, like a normal multipitch bank, but you'd have to manually put in the prefixes or suffixes in the UST to change the bank type.

2) Render each part with the bank you want & hit Save Last Play so you have a bunch of temps. This is much more work, as you still have to time everything. Alternatively, you could render the entire UST with the banks you wanna use & then cut & edit in mixing.

How I did this before was make a copy of the ust, say it was called main-

1st UST- Main (soft append)
2nd UST- Main (Normal)

Then go into the 1st, and select all the notes you don't want it to sing, right click, region property and where it says lyric in the top right, type R and click ok.

Do the same but with the 2nd ust, change all the notes you have the append singing set to R.

I'm guessing I could combine that with the plugin that plays multiple .usts at once to shorten the time spent on fixing timing issues?

I would suggest using aliases and putting a suffix next to each VCV alias. For example, for a soft append, alias a soft append bank as "a ka" becoming "a kaS" with "S" being typed into the desired lyric to activate the Append.
I have done this with Matsudappoiyo's banks and I like to combine his Edge bank with his Heart and Sing retakes.
Shima Hakone also does this because his 7-pitch voicebank has 3 extras: Calm, Soft, and Falsetto.
So basically, you activate it by typing the suffix next to each lyric as I said above.

Does that require moving all the banks into one folder?
Or do I somehow access them separately as normal, but then how do I do that?
That sounds like a good idea though, I'll try it once I can actually get my head around it...
