Momo's Minion
Hey, everyone! I need some help here. So, I'm making an UTAU bank that's a fanloid for the Macne Series, and he has some... issues with the OTOing. Is there any app that I can use to do this automatically? Or do I have to just spend like, 3 days of painful slaving over my laptop to get him to sound right?

Configuring OTO.ini can be eased with base parameters, particularly for CVVC/VCV voicebanks or non-Japanese voicebanks. These premade files will generally have the aliases needed, and the timing in rough locations. However, for a final voicebank, you'll need to fine tune each entry to fit the audio. This type of fine editing will go by faster using a dedicated OTO editor like vLabeler.

Do not use moresampler for this please dgfjgfd
Regarding that, there are ways to generate bases but nothing will even be passable unless you're recording strictly to a guideBGM or metronome, there are math-based generators (more or less, they place the params based on the tempo and length of silence at the beginning of samples) and those ones are the only ones that actually save time or produce something accurate. That requires having considered it when recording though!

3 days of painful slaving gets reduced to 1 day gets reduced to less than an hr for CV voicebanks after getting used to the tooling, so in my opinion it's better to start investing the learning time now when it's necessary! It starts getting more important to do the former steps when recording to allow automation when you're recording VCV or multipitch (or both) where there are like 10 times the samples to configure... All I can say is you get used to it lol

That's correct, automatic tools are intended for setup and rough parameters. This makes the final fine tuning by hand much faster.

Where can I download it? (Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've installed malware while using UTAU before.)
EDIT: I'm stupid, I found a link to it on this forum.
btw moresampler doesn't oto correctly most of the time so you have to fix the notes by hand, also some characters arn't recognized and doesn't get an base oto generated so do keep that in mind.
its mostly the "la, tu, du" and similar characters that don't get read

hope this helps
