Great ideas here ! Maybe instead of just the main MIDI parts, you can try and add in extra parts of the song, otherwise it just won't be the same ! For 'The Lost One's Weeping' (One of my personal favourites), maybe you can add in extra parts of the song. A background, bass, and main. Perhaps that would improve?
