Problems with Matsudappoiyo's retakes use

Hallo everyone!

Well, this is awkward 'cause Im a totall noob so this is it...

I got Matsudappoiyo's retakes:
Heart
Against
Normal
Power

But, I can't make him sing :/

I've tried everything and I asked a friend of mine about the file location (he's pretty good at utau) and he said it was fine...

Am I missing something? I saw that some utauloids needs "fresampler" for singing some notes... but I can't fine Matsudappoiyo's one =_="

btw, I have other 4 utau and they actually work perfect.

Any help? I'll attach som pics about the file location so maybe that help.

I don't know Matsudappoiyo, so I will ask you to open his voice folder (inside the "voice" folder in the "UTAU" folder) and show us a screenshot of it. I want to see if he is a VCV or a CV bank.

CV banks are basic banks that use a simple syllabe system in UTAU. So a word like "arigato/ありがと" would be: "a" "ri" "ga" "to" and "あ" "り" "が" "と" in UTAU.

A VCV bank uses a different method, since it uses different samples as well (the way you record a VCV is completely different than that of a CV). When using a VCV bank (which can be the case), the same word "arigato" needs to be typed in UTAU like this: "- あ" "a り" "i が" "a と". If a note is starting after a Rest (the R letter inside the note), you put a "-" before it. If the note comes after another note, you type the last vowel before the note, just like I showed you. Try doing that with that bank and tell us what happens.

For now, that's what I can think of.

Do you think you could post a pic of you looking at the .oto inside UTAU?

I'm thinking you might have to put suffixes after the hiragana characters to specify which retake you want to use.

EDIT: Actually, I'll just post this really quick to see if it helps.

So, the suffixes are like this: A - Against, 囁 - Heart, 強 - Power.

There should a "normal" retake notes without suffixes, which is basically Matsuda's normal voice.

You might be like: "derp, already did this. >.>" but I thought I'd try.

Nope...I tried but the suffix turns into a "?" even if I got the japanese characters activated D:

How exactly are you trying to input the suffixes? You can't copy-paste them from outside sources, such as the Readme Mmattsun has provided as a guide. If you have been doing this, I recommend you find a sample in his oto, and use that to input into the note / suffix broker.

Alright, open the oto, and go to the retake you want. so highlight the suffix beside the note name and copy it. Then open your hiragana .ust and paste the suffix after the note so it's exactly the same as the alias in the oto.

That's doing it manually, you can use the suffix broker in Tools > Built In Tools after highlighting the notes you want to be sung by your desired retake and can input suffixes that way too.

Okay, look. You hit the open-button here, not in any voice folder. If you open it from a voicefolder you'll not be able to use his Retakes:
