{yeah, it's my first voicebank}

At first I thought the problem was a weak laptop, but everything works fine with other voicebanks.

Then I immediately began to look at the difference in the contents of voicebanks.
and.. I have missing files .frq and .llsm

I would like to clarify their function, creation and whether this is the cause of the failure

Either your oto.ini contains errors, or your files are incorrectly formatted. UTAU files need to be WAV, 16bit depth, 44.1khz sample rate, and mono to be compatible with most resamplers.

Either way, if you open the Singer window and click the little cog icon, you should find an option called "Singer error Check" in the drop down. If you select that it'll output a .txt file with the problem.
If you need help interpreting it, attach it here and I can tell you what issue it is :smile:

the .frq file maps the frequency throughout your audio files. there are different file extensions for different resamplers (llsm, pmk, etc). the lack of those files wont cause any problems since they will be automatically generated for you when you use your utau. the lack of .frqs isnt the cause of failure, but the things halo mentioned likely are.

Thank you for response:sing:

Oh- yeah, I think 16 bits.. is it possible to convert a 24-bit 48,0 kHz wav file to 16-bit 44,1 kHz somehow?

Eeup, that'll do it. You can use r8brain to batch convert all your files, or if you happen to already use REAPER as your DAW it has a batch conversion feature that works similarly and maybe a bit more reliably. Always make a backup!
