Setparam alternatives?

Both setparam and oremo are causing errors on my computer, despite deleting and reinstalling them multiple times. I know recstar is a oremo alternative, but is there any alternative to setparam? Any help would be appreciated!!

vLabeler is a modern voicebank configuration tool that supports oto.ini and other singing synth formats. It has a lot of powerful batch editing plugins and useful features like support for multipitch, tagging entries, and marking finished entries. I highly recommend it and it's my first choice over setParam.

Have you changed your locale? That causes issues with those programs.
