Teto's Synth V is boring

Teto's Synth V is beautiful don't get me wrong. But it all songs that use the voicebank are smooth and don't really sound. She has no depth in my opinion

I absolutely agree, but you also have to take in the fact Teto’s voice provider is around 30 now, and her original UTAU voicebanks were recorded over 10 years ago and were heavily modified in external programs. You can easily pitch-shift an UTAU voicebank and have it sound good, but SynthV and AI synthesizers in general don’t take modified data very well.
Teto SV is objectively an OK voicebank but she sounds far more like Oyamano Mayo than Teto. A lot of Vocaloid/UTAU adaptations for SynthV don’t sound ‘right’, like Gumi and Otomachi Una.
Tbh the only AI synthesizer to me that has character is CeVIO. CiFlower and KAFU have so much character to them- I’m disappointed there aren’t many male options.
It would have been cool if Teto/Miku/Gumi/Ruko got CeVIO ports.

i agree with the personality thing, like don't get me wrong i like it sounds a bit cleaner, but lets take the song "ghost rule" as an example, you could make utau teto have a voice full of rage and have this growl, and now with sv teto it just sounds so soft and with less personality. :P

SynthV Teto does have way better audio quality. Kasane Teto's UTAU version was suspiciously low quality for having been recorded with a 500+ dollar audio setup.

REAL... teto utau has character and i use her more tbh
what if her english is bad? that's how she is and i love it
what if she's choppy and robotic? that's the utau charm on teto
synthv teto doesn't hit as hard as utau but she's still beautiful

Her English isn’t even that terrible when you don’t take into account her glitch on ‘t’ sounds. It’s certainly not the best and very much un-beginner friendly but she can still sound fantastic in a good tuner’s hands.
Similar situation to Miku’s English- it’s just how you tune around their mistakes that counts.
