Aka, what I've been doing the last two days (well, the past week counting the first two steps)
- Decide you want to make an UTAU
- Don't actually do anything for like a week
- Finally get the motivation to get off your behind and make it
- Record all of the voicebank in one sitting at entirely too late a time of night
- Have a machine do the oto for you because screw doing otos!
- Try to create the frq files
- Realize it's taking entirely too long
- Shut down your computer and go to bed
- Realize the next day that you didn't edit your audio files any
- Delete the frqs you had generated
- Try to edit them in one massive go in Audacity, only to have the program crash
- Kick a chair
- Go through one by one and do each one for enough time to get frustrated with it
- Realize you can do it in little groups to save time
- Make the frqs
- Think you're finally done
- Play a song to realize no, some of the audio files ****ed up
- Delete the files that are causing the problem
- Re-record them
- Re-edit them
- Re-generate the frqs
- Wonder if you should redo the oto because of the new files
- Redo the oto anyway
- Think you're finally done!
- Think that no, once people hear it, they'll have critiques and you'll have to go through more work like this
- Bang your head on the keyboard
