Trying to make Oremo work on Mac

I downloaded Oremo for Mac and it worked for a few minutes but then I get he message, "Error: can't read "srec": no such variable" and then my screen freezes. I have to force quit the application. I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem?

I don't think Oremo works on Big Sur. I use this instead
