unpleasant crisp noise in some samples?

recently when i record a voicebank, some of the samples become unpleasantly crispy no matter what resampler i use. i edited the frq file making sure that the blue dots were on the red line(i noticed the red lines in the sample editor drop down or up abruptly in some place). even after editing the frq file it still sounded unpleasant. could this be a mic problem or is it just my voice?

Could you post some audio samples so that it's easier to understand the issue? Both the raw audio and processed through UTAU. You can use a website like https://clyp.it to upload the files.
