Using "Resampler Selecter" plugin with other resamplers...?

I'm currently trying to use Masao's plugin for changing resamplers in the middle of a UST, but it isn't functioning. My theory though is because I'm trying to use it with tn_fnds and EFB-GT (Trying to change select notes from them into TIPS), and those aren't in the plugin itself, so they're not working. I've used it before when changing fresamp to resampler with no problem. Is my theory right? ...And has Masao updated this plugin and I just haven't noticed?

As far as I know your assumption is correct, tn_fnds and other resamplers were not released by the time Masao made the plugin, so I don't think that resamplers other than the ones on the list are supported.

the plugin has a setting file, and you can edit it so that other resamplers will appear in the list.

in case of windows xp
open C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\UTAU Plugin\resampler wrapper
and edit engine.ini file.

in case of windows vista/7/8
open C:\ProgramData\UTAU Plugin\resampler wrapper
and edit engine.ini file.

* note that some folders is hidden

format of engine.ini is like;
[Resampler]
0=resampler.exe
1=fresamp.exe
2=TIPS.exe
...

you can add other resamplers like
10=EFB-GT.exe
etc etc

EDIT: Though, when I looked in the folder, all there was were install.txt, plugin.txt and the application engine_selector_plugin. Is my version just out of date?

I think you looked a wrong folder.
Read this ↓ carefully...

in case of windows xp

Ah, bringing up this really old thread because I've been encountering some problems. And I like this plugin too much so I want it to work properly.

Lately it hasn't been working. As in, no matter the voicebank (and I make sure to eliminate all factors that could be causing it) if I try and change the resampler no sound comes out, whether it's one that was always within the program (resampler, TIPS) or one I've added lately (fresamp14, WARP). I'm thinking I maybe don't have them located in the proper place? But they're within the main UTAU folder. Do some of them just not have the extention .exe? And I don't think it's Masao's patcher, because about half are patched, half aren't, but none work.

Any help would be appreciated.

I dunno if this'll help you or not, but I deleted both the patcher & selector along with all the patched resamplers, reinstalled them, & repatched all the resamplers. The selector then worked for me (at least for the resamplers that the selector lets work). If you did that already, I'm not much use to you orz
