What do u exactly mean by sound weird? I've tried it with defoko and with my utau and it sounded normal. If u cleared preutterance, overlap, STP and set modulation to 0 it should sound normal, the only other thing that I can think about is that maby ur utau isn't set to mode 2. If its non of those things, describe what is happening with ur ust maybe then I could help.

Right click the note and select "Property". You can find STP at the bottom of the pop-up window. If it is hidden, click the little triangle that says "Details".

Uhh i tried that and fitting the ust but it still sounds weird, its an envelope problem becuse its choppy, sometimes there is too much overlap (sounds like 2 people singing for a short second) and sometimes there is a short pause (too litle overlap) after fitting, weirdly it still sounds unfitted

If it's an issue with crossfades, these buttons might help:

crossfade.png

From left to right:
- Applies preutterance and overlap of the current voice bank.
- P2/P3 crossfade
- P1/P4 crossfade
- Optimize (use after playing the song once; it will clear the cache files and can sometimes reduce choppiness)
- Reset

What I'd recommend doing is pressing CTRL+A, going to properties, clearing the preutterance and overlap, setting the modulation to zero (not clear, ZERO), and clearing the STP.

Click OK. Then, using these buttons at the top, click RESET, P1P4 or P2P3, then ACPT. Press play, and afterwards click OPT.

You may not have needed to do all of these or you may have already known most of it, but I figured it couldn't hurt!

Awesome! I figured mentioning the buttons wouldn't hurt even though it seemed like they weren't the case. As just a general tip, I'd recommend going into properties and clearing everything/setting Mod to 0 every time you load a UST or change the lyric of a note. Sometimes it won't change automatically. I'm glad I could help!
