UTAU Dos and Don'ts

I thought it might be a good idea to have a list of unofficial UTAU rules? Since noobs like me wind up learning the "Don't"s by screwing up and upsetting people, it seems like it would be pretty useful to have them explicitly stated somewhere.
You know, things like...
DON'T tag other UTAU/Vocaloids in videos if they're not actually in the video.
DO spend time editing USTs to fit your UTAU instead of just using them as is.

DONT edit a previously existing Vocaloid/UTAU's box art with Photoshop or GIMP to make your UTAU's box art.

DON'T set your note modulation with an unspecified number ("mod -"), unless using HANASU.
DO make use of other resamplers such as TIPS and Fresamp to render the best possible voices.

DO watch/read tutorials before you attempt to make an UTAU or UST.
DO test your voicebank with different pitches, flags, and speeds before you release it.
DON'T try to make a VCV voicebank until you're experienced with CV. You'll only frustrate yourself.
DON'T ever stop trying to improve.
