Utau making weird sounds?

Press K (just K by itself, it's a keyboard shortcut, trust me) and you'll bring up the default note settings. There's a reset button, but go through each all four sections to make sure they're set to what you want.

OK SO...
It worked but the vibrato doesnt go away unless I uncheck it??????

One of the things you should be able to change in that K window is whether vibrato is on or off.. You might have just set it to default, but still left it on

It only does it to the first note I place then when i delete it it stops.

I can tolerate that :P
