UTAU Naming

[Hayate Ryo]

Saw similar thread on here about UTAU names:

So my UTAU is supposed to be named Matsuda Ryuu,

松田竜 is the Kanji, まつだ　りゆう is Hiragana

But I know now that there is Matsudapoiyo, I don't intend to plagiarize but, honestly I did not consider the similarity. Although me and the voice provider of Matsudapoiyo don't sound alike that much.

My concept look for Ryuu is totally different, however, just not ready for release.

I don't think that using 'Matsuda' would be plagiarizing off of Matsudappoiyo. It's just a name after all. If you really consider it a problem, perhaps you should you different kanji? Or write the name in katakana?

Exactly. Its one of the family names I would pick if I were to live in Japan, assuming Hayate, being traditionally a first name, wasn't acceptable, since my real name has a lot of sounds not common in Japanese. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't too similar.

And I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be accused of it, last thing I would want...
