So I was supposed to release this last May as an advertisement for my then-upcoming Commissions 2017, along with a PV. I even had a website, with a custom domain name, ready for it!

But then life happened, and then I thought maybe after Senior High School starts, I'd be able to get time to finish this.

WRONG!

My first midterms just ended - and l a w d. I slept past midnight for multiple days in a row, literally pulled three all-nighters, and watched as my health spiraled out of control! How exciting! I went to exams sick, both of studying and literally sick. It does not help that I have to maintain my grades because of peoples' expectations of me... but at the same time, I'm having fun!

It's just... clouded in stress... unlike the days when I had time to log into UTAForum and talk to other newbies about how X-SAMPA even worked.

However, if I didn't release this and just waited even further - it's already August! - it would just become more obsolete, so maybe I should treat this like my very first original (To the Casual Fan) and just... let it out there for the world to enjoy (???).

Ironically, this is a song about coming back, to "break the silence"... and now I'm diving back into it. Lol.

Wow! It's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful! Maybe the violin not so much... but I was impressed by the piano effect! What's that?

Heyo! It's nice to know that this work has been gaining attention since I last checked.

I've been inactive lately because of a LOT of stuff happening in my life, so I had to throw my hobby as a producer aside. I don't think I can become a regular producer just yet - SO MANY THINGS FOR ME TO DO - but once I perfect my work-life balance, maybe, just maybe...

Thanks! The piano glitching effect was fun to work on! What I did was: I rendered out the initial piano part and then just cut it up into little pieces and rearranged them. I also made a couple more piano sequences, cut those up into little pieces, rearranged those, et cetera cetera ad infinitum. The piano sound itself is the *FREE* Piano in 162 sampled concert grand piano, and if you do want to try that, be warned: the size of the thing is around 5 GB. :D

Thank you! I'm actually rather flattered reading this, hehe. I first touched a DAW in 2011 when I was 10 years old because my Mom got a new MacBook and GarageBand was one of the apps. To this day I use GarageBand, although recently I'm trying to switch my workflow to Windows. My first released original though was in October 2015 for the Miku Expo song contest. I've actually changed quite a bit, but I haven't been able to show my recent music work, mostly because it's for school projects and local song contests where I use my real name and identity to compete. I hope to post something soon though, maybe get my SoundCloud active again!
