Vocaloid 6 crashes when I import audio (FIXED)

When I import my WAV (and I made sure it's a WAV), the program freezes for a few minutes then closes itself. I've tried everything. I've imported the WAV, dragged and dropped the WAV, made sure the software was updated, freed up space, restarted my computer and even did a repair install on my computer but nothing works! I've done this with multiple WAVs I just wanted to make Po-Uta sing IMAWANOKIWA

Will the program export a wav file of the tuned vocaloid sequence? If so then you could use another program to mix the exported vocaloid sequence with the instrumental track as a workaround.

@WryndReed that does seem to work so suppose I'll try that, though I see it as a sort of temporary fix as I hate Audacity (I do mixing in the Editor itself since it's easier to sync vocals to the instrumentals). Thank you though!!

Audacity is more meant for simple audio editing than any mixing.
For mixing I would use an actual DAW, there are full featured free ones such as Tracktion Waveform Free and Cakewalk by Bandlab

UPDATE: Apparently V6 just didn't like the way my WAVs were formatted anymore (I'm guessing it was an update that made the way WAVs import differently??????)

Either way re-exporting it via Audacity fixed the issue

Thank you to everyone who tried to help though!!! I will keep the mixing advice in mind!!!
