Might actually use this for more than one song on occasion, I have trouble finding a voice a think is perfect all the time.

(Hey, I didn't mind parts of YuGiOh GX, and this was my favorite song in the series, and it has a karaoke, so yay.)

Yeah, as you can probably hear, it's a song that'll be hard for male UTAUs to pull off well. I'm thinking Tsukishiro Hakupo could do it, but I always use Hakupo, so I want some suggestions.

I'd prefer VCV, but if there's some magical multi-tone CV miracle guy out there, please show him!

Ah, I have most of those banks and tried them.

I started the UST with Hakupo, but like I sensed before starting he didn't work 100%. So I played around with banks, and then when trying this old Laru bank (I have no clue which bank, I just know it's around 2 years old), I knew he was perfect for it. Take a gander:

Teardrop is almost done, I just have the last portion of the song to do (which is copy paste edit I really should finish that).

I want a soft or sweet voice, I have very few to pick from on my computer because I don't download them very often/ever. Mega bonus points if they look like the girl in the PV, but they don't have to.

ALSO, ANYONE WHO KNOWS ANY JAPANESE WHATSOEVER: I found two english translations of the song, and I want to subtitle the PV when I do the cover. But the two english versions are rather different. Which one is more correct? I like the second more but if it's less accurate then ah well.

My only qualification in Japanese is that I aced my Japanese classes even when I failed everything else, but based on the little I know the second one (Khozeno's to be 100% clear) seems more accurate to me.

As for the voice, I think I have to go with what seems to be the majority forming on Soundcloud and say Tsuzuru, although I really like Tayorine Nuki Marshmallow too hnngh

Thanks Teifuani! I'm glad the second one is more accurate, it sounds so much better hah.

And yeah, I think I'll go with Tsuzuru. I actually tried her with resampler and some experimental flags and she sounds great. (And I'm really fond of her - I remember when she came out that I thought her voice was fantastic, plus Kiidos's UTAUs need more love.)
