wav problems

so I have this problem where sometimes I'll open a UST into utau and the sounds will come out as if they're the raw recordings but slightly pitched. I'm pretty sure it happens because the UST has been converted from a VSQX, but does anyone know how to fix it so that it sounds normal? (edit: only realized after posting I said it was a .wav problem, I meant to say UST problem my bad!)

What UST are you using? What voicebank are you using?
You should always be sure to clear the note parameters to ensure that the current voicebank's configuration is used. Select all notes, right click, go to Region Properties, then make sure Preutterance/Overlap/STP are empty. Then you can reset and crossfade the envelopes.
