The flash thing is because it has to be enabled in the addons section, it's disabled by default for security reasons. The other issues are fixable, but you'd have to Google the answer to those questions, 'coz I dunno how to fix those. It's weird that you experienced that, I've never had that happen before.
(There's also a slight chance it might be a slow computer issue, in which case I'd suggest Pale Moon (or anything else really) over Firefox)

I tried enabling Flash, but it just crashed when I did (unfortunately). Firefox was pretty laggy for me anyway, but I do like how customizable it is.
