What do you think the highest quality utau is?

Hello,
I'm loud spoken on my belief of Mine Laru being the best vocal on the engine at, least to my knowledge. However, I'm looking for more high quality vocals and such so I can find more to my liking. All I ask is the utau's name and why you think they're the highest quality.

I believe Laru is the highest quality as:
- Large range as result of high pitch count
- Low amounts of noise
- High amount of realism due to almost every note changing the pitch bank used
- Good functionality with almost every resampler on most of his voicebanks
- Can be used as a multi expression with use of resampleroverwriter

Got any you believe tops him?

I don't think there's anything that beats Mine Laru in terms of pitches and audio quality, but what's in my head the second most objectively 'professional' UTAU is...

Maiko. Please don't burn me at the stake for this. Yes, she sucks in most songs and her oto is garbage but when you go through the trouble to fix her she sounds incredibly good. This song, man. If you told me she was a human, I'd believe you.

The reason why she does in this song is because I believe the song uses her raw samples or does something like W-1 on efb-gt or U on moresampler. Basically, she *is* human in this, as her vocals have limited synthesis.

Makes sense, resamplers tend to screw up on scream banks.

I'd argue that usage of Maiko in songs such as that doesn't count, just due to it being essentially (or even directly) her raw samples.
If one were to ask me what I think the second highest quality utau is, I'd argue Arujine Sarasa for his large range and only slightly lower levels of clarity or Namine Ritsu for her varied tones and high quality.

I'll second you on Ritsu. The audio gear she was recorded with is INSANE for an UTAU (seriously, Neumann U 87 Ai for a free UTAU. That's a multi-thousand dollar microphone). I just looked up Sarasa, I really like his voice, too.

His new Rose Madder voicebank is really of the charts, I've got a new cover in the works using him. I could show you if you'd like.

I third Mine Laru as best.
Ritsu could be easily placed in second but Yamine Renri exists and I love her.
In terms of where Suzuki Hoshi lands, maybe between Teto and vxPIERO?
(PIERO is really good imo)

I'd argue that Yamine Renri is lower than Ritsu. She has a large amount of noise to the point it sounds like she was recorded outdoors. She's very realistic and well made, don't get me wrong, but not as much as Ritsu.

fair. I guess I don't listen to her enough (renri, not ritsu)

MAIKO is an incredible UTAU and it was made by a professional. If it had more formats and a better OT, we would be talking about one of the best UTAUs.
