I'm honestly not sure what voices I'd prefer most..although I do favor male  UTAU voices a bit more, since I don't see them asmuch. And clear voices are always a yes in my book. <3 I squeal over some young voices, too.. o wo; I guess it moreso depends on the UTAU in general for me.<W >;;

I like baritone male voices. Realistic or robotic doean't matter so long as it is CLEAR and FULL. Clerity is key so long as I can understand it I am more likely to like it.

Likewise if you are going for robo-voice just as I don't want it to be buzzy and unclear I want it to still be full and vibrant... as opposed to hollow and tinny as I sometimes hear in robo-UTAU >_<;;

Clear. Clear. Clear.
I'd like to be able to hear the pronunciation of things.

I also like it when UTAUloids sound more human; robotic voices don't usually agree with me unless they are well done. And they have to be clear. (I dislike it if an UTAUloid is unclear, and the excuse is that "It's a robot, not a human." Or something like that. I can't think of a specific UTAUloid that fits that criteria, luckily. Uh, so robotic voices are iffy with me.)

I like bright, young voices, that sounds real, and not chipmunky. (I listened once to Haruka Nana. Once isn't enough to judge upon, but let's say that she's not a favorite, right now.)

I like deep mature females if the voicer doesn't fake the deepness too much. This also applies with manly male UTAUloids voiced by females.

I dislike shonen UTAUloids that still sound very female and not so andrygonous.

And that's all I can think of right now.

Strong & Clear; powerful.
and I prefer younger sounding, cute voices, although mature voices can be nice as well.
I like both gender-type voices equally.
Soft voices can be very nice too, but it still has to be clear.

Overall, definitely prefer clear samples with little background noise so pronunciation is much more clearer, and a voice with a good oto that flows nicely (not a chopped up sound).

I have the biggest soft spot for any soft and/or breathy voice. Q A Q But still clear when breathy, and when it's not the weird rendering where in UTAU where it picks up all these extra sounds or scratches and yaddi yaddi yadda. ;v;v;v;

anything that isn't trying to hard to sound super kawaii
something somewhat clear (I've noticed that muffled voices can handle being soft and smooth more easily, so i don't mind them to a certain extent)
non-soft consonants

I usually love female UTAUloids to sound mature and womanly. I don't know, altos are awesome, in my opinion~ <3 Whether the sound is suave or powerful, I love deeper voices with women, and if they also happen to have a wider range for higher notes, all the better. I'd like to collect more of these voicebanks, to be honest.~

When it comes to males, I'm stuck between mellow tenors (ex. Matsudappoiyo, whom I love to death) and baritone males with deeper voices.

With all that in mind, I love clarity as much as the next person here; it's wonderful.
Also, I don't mind the other voice types; they all have their charms~

Hmm, I like all kinds, but, generally, I prefer mature, clear voices for both genders. On the other side of things, I also like soft, feminine voices, as well. Also, some "cutesy" voices as long as it's not too...forced. Oh, and some mid-range males I like too, hehe.

I mostly prefer strong, mid tone voices, they're quite good for jazz, rock, and just generally all the genres that I adore.

Mature voices are quite pleasant to listen to, as well. They can be soft or strong, either way, if they're mature I'll fall in love with them immediately.

I suppose I enjoy higher tones a little, as long as they don't sound horrifically forced, I could listen to them.

I really like powerful and deep voices. I don't know I've been addicted to them lately although the right soft voice makes me happy too. I like listening to males more than females, I guess because I don't hear it much. Mature voices are my favorite.

Since I, and therefore my UTAU, have a deep voice, I lean towards a high-pitched one. A high voice tends to compliment my UTAU's voice better than a deep one. (Talking about girls)

Don't get me wrong; I love deep-voiced girls. But they just don't compliment Utsubyo Bairetto very well. :3

I like the ladies~~~I love mature voice-types. And I love a robotic voice as long as it's not grating on the ears. I like soprano sometimes...this fandom is pretty saturated with them for some reason o___o I had an aversion to working in the C4/C3 range for a while until I realized that C2 is pretty damn low....hahahaha.

For dudes...I love really...mellow voices I guess? I like Vocaloid Len's lower ranges, and genderbends. Today I listened to Seine Ran and was knocked the heck out! But I don' t listen to robot dudes so often. Regret D':

I love hearing experimental loids as long as they aren't grating.

The covers that are destined for ipod are usually done by Ruko or Ruko with Rook...make of that what you will. I dunno I just noticed that she signs her name with hearts (okay okay in one picture that I saw once), which must have been some kinda sympathetic magic because with that she CAPTURED MINE

For females, I like emotional and clear voices or elegant and emotional and opera-ish whispery voices. And then there's Miko Ooka

For males, I'm a bit more pickier. Lively but manly tenors (and occasionally baritones) such as Ruko♂ and Karasu Yuutsukoe are my thing.

A really solid, mature voice for both genders.

By solid, I don't mean strong (necessarily) I mean the it projects and can clearly cut through other sounds...I guess
I like even soft voices as long as they're not quite and feeble.
