It was eight pitches... luckily, with my VB creation method I only had to oto one pitch by hand, but man...

One time, I tried using Vocalina and no sound would play, even when I used the patches.

I feel your pain...eight pitches of English. Gone. (I'm extremely passionate about UTAU English for some reason) Also, what creation method do you use? RVC? Using guideBGMs? Or any other method?

Downloaded a 20 pitch vcv utau, took up like 7 gb, noisiest utau I've ever used with 0 consistency from pitch to pitch.

I guess this disproves the myth that more pitches = a better voicebank. I'm kind of interested in knowing what this voicebank is so I can eat up hard drive space. I've worked with noisy LQ voicebanks before.

I like it better when the samples have smooth transitions to the next samples rather than more pitches.

I think one of my worst was the first time setting up. Piapro took HOURS because rin and len's API is broken, so i had to use a Miku trial.
I also hated setting up UTAU because of the locale shit

It sounded great to me, however I've never used Arachne's voicebank before. Apparently KYE's English voicebank has a horrible OTO because of Moresampler. My tripitch English voicebank has an entire pitch that's a glitchy mess (I left it in my voicebank if anyone could salvage it, but I don't consider it a separate pitch).

I tried downloading a voicebank once that I saw online that looked cool but turns out it had no oto so I couldn’t use it.
I hate having voicebanks given to me to OTO that have no base OTO, which means I have to configure every single Hiragana sample (it can take OTOing VCV from taking 45 minutes to 2 weeks). Luckily the only UTAU voicebank I've downloaded without an OTO was CV, specifically Kurooto Rokumi, however she sounds great with an OTO.

Oh also, there is an utau out there that's a very popular furloid, Waon Ikuto, with a very good design I like a lot and has a canonical tie to one of my favorite utau voicebanks ever made, Arujine Sarasa, but his only multipitch vcv voicebank has it's highest pitch sound like a raging teenage gamer with a bad mic.

Imagine if Ikuto's multipitch voicebank has only 2 or 3 pitches...

No I mean like, I wasn’t otoing it, I was just wanting to download more voicebanks so I can have a variety of voicebanks to use for covers or originals.

That's especially difficult... I want to download a voicebank expecting to plug and play it into UTAU with no issues and tune it easily.

Someone on Twitter told me that I shouldn’t have made Iris CV Yiddish because Yiddish is a Jewish Langauge and apparently I support Israel‘s attacks on Gaza by making that voicebank… but I don’t…. I just wanted to make a voicebank for a language that no one has really made a voicebank for to be unique ;-;

Ikuto is very old and wasn't made to be seen as "good", so I'm not trying to shame the voice provider or anything. It's just I have somewhat high standards for what voicebanks I wanna use and seeing an utau with a design that fire only have a lower quality kire vcv, a cvvc voicebank (I don't like using cvvc), and some very low quality cv voicebanks left me very disappointed. However, his voice provider has teased making some new voicebanks, which leaves me feeling optimistic.

I look at Mae Blythe's UTAUSNR blog, and she sometimes finds some UTAUs with broken multipitch voicebanks, where whole pitches are excluded from the prefix map, or the tones between pitches aren't consistent, which is what Ikuto's kire VCV reminds me of. I'm glad that the voice provider of Ikuto said that he might make some voicebanks for him, especially when the voicebanks for all common UTAU formats are of low quality except for the CVVC voicebank.
