Hello. I find myself using the default resampler (the one that comes included with the original UTAU) a lot, so I thought it would be good to check what flags I can use with it so I know what my options are when using it. I've figured out how some of them work and what they do, but there's others that don't seem to do anything no matter how hard I try, the x and Y flag.
It says they're valid flags for the default resampler on the wikidot UTAU wiki, utau-bowl's blog and also on this forum (they also appear here for what that's worth, but it's not default-resampler-specific), so they must do something, but they don't. I've tried both in the original UTAU and in OpenUTAU, and on several different voicebanks, but it's all the same. I'm also checking the waveform just to make sure it's not just my ears not working, but the waveform doesn't seem change one bit either when I modify the x or Y flags values, whereas for the other flags I can see the change just fine. The closest I've come to making one of them work was replacing the "x" with an "X", which does do something, but it doesn't seem to be the same thing and I doubt everyone has somehow made the same mistake of using lowercase x when they meant uppercase X in any case.
Just in case it helps in any way, here's a recording with Teto's CV voicebank in the original UTAU using the default resampler it comes with, changing the value of the x flag.
I made one part with no flags and the other two with the minimum (x-100) and maximum (x100) values of the x flag.
And here's another recording done in the same way but changing the value of just the Y flag (one is Y100 and the other is Y0).
Does anyone know why these flags won't work? Are they flags that only worked in previous versions of the resampler, or do they need something specific like i.e. another flag to work? Are they just that subtle? If they work for you, would it be possible tell me what you did, and maybe upload an audio where you can hear difference so I know what I'm searching for?
Thanks in advance.
