Yokune Ruko sounds kinda off

So i've basically just started using openutau and i've downloaded a Teto that works perfectly fine. I was really looking forward to using Ruko's vb but then again, i don't actually know anything more than just downloading the vb and using it. Anyways i downloaded ruko's male voice and started using him and he sounds kinda wrong. Like unclear and crunchy as if the quality has been drained out. I downloaded him from the official website and everything but i don't know what's making him sound like that


(i also tested the other voicebanks on there and they are either like the one i first downloaded, or just mute)

That is because you are using worldline-r. It is recommended to get another resampler to use, like fresamp, f2resamp, moresampler, etc.

is a resampler a downloadable thing? or is it something that comes with openutau?

A resampler is a downloadable thing. Once you download one, the files for it should be placed into OpenUtau's resampler folder.

nevermind it's not working or i don't know how to access it. I put the entire folder in the resamplers folder and nothing happened so i put the resampler thing itself into the folder and still nothing

You must select where it says Worldline-R on the singer panel and change it to Classic. You can now select the resampler by clicking on the gear icon besides Classic.

i did and there's nothing there. (apart from worldline-r and classic)
