Currently retraining PIERO's RVC model on his TYPE-SERIES samples so during the RVC pitching process he can reach higher and stronger pitches without artifacts from the conversion.

Model is done: he can do up to C5 before distorting, which is an octave above his original model, and has far better audio quality.

Wow, it's been a while. My life has been like a roller-coaster for the past few years.
With my renewed interest in UTAU, I'm trying to make an English reclist...

It's not going so well, lol. English is such a mess sometimes.

Thanks, I'm hanging in there! :sing:
Has anyone actually ever utilized Doppeltler's functionality with .mp3 file samples? I'd love to hear an utau based on old internet aesthetics that uses low quality mp3s
The TYPE-SERIES REV 0 is officially done! All that is left is creating the official art and demo reel.
Everyone wants to become a SynthV but where are my CeVIO guys? CeVIO > SynthV

Yeah CeVIO sucks but I also just have a personal bias against Dreamtonics and their nasty business practices of recent. I also just sort of prefer the engine noise and clunkier autotuning. SynthV's almost-perfection is ironically what made me dislike it, even though I understand vocal synths are meant to be realistic.

Don't get me wrong, I like CeVIO, especially 2.0, but I prefer hyperrealism and polish (hence my love of Laru) and love the ability to customize my vocals to my exact liking, so I just choose to ignore the stuff Dreamtonics has done. Also, CeVIO has like 3 singing male vocals on the entire engine, and I enjoy using masculine vocals.
I wonder what I'd do if I find a voicebank better than Mine Laru. Would I begin using it? Would I no longer use Mine Laru as my main voicebank? What if the vocal isn't a furloid?
Back from DC and now going to (painfully) work on the TYPE-SERIES banks now. I’ve been feeling kind of strange lately and might take a little break from making PIERO’s voicebanks when this is done.
What is an utau voicebank who kinda sucks yet you have a strange fondness for? I'll start.
There's an utau called Moune Loup who is one of the few feminine furloids and possibly the most popular. She only has a 1 pitch vcv with a small vocal range, but I love her design and tone. She was last updated 12 years ago, I wish she got more voicebanks and pitches and such.

I found this one voicebank on the Utau subreddit that had poor audio quality which caused it not to work with resamplers like Worldline or resampler correctly, but had a cute, sweet tone when I was able to use it. Her name is Tsukimo Hikaru.

honestly imo suzuki hoshi is not good
but i love him
(oh and there might be some others)
does hifisampler work with other wavtools?
G

I don't know for sure because I don't have a Mac that supports Hifisampler.

However, I think it does, because Sunnywolves tested it with the wavtool Utagrowl, which worked with Hifisampler.

Pro tip: you can use RVC on your monopitch voicebanks and adjust the pitch to create a natural sounding multipitch.

I use Mine Laru’s banks as a guide for where I should set the pitches as I like how well his VBs flow.
super soft voice + robotic tuning .... drools

My favorite way to use Mine Laru Float tbh and probably the reason he's my main voicebank (considering I can't do anything that isn't robotic tuning lol)
hifisampler does crazy work holy shit

i have a question tho-does it work with other wavtools (Moresampler, wavtool4vcv, etc)
and is hifisampler 0.0.6 any better than 0.0.3

I can't comment on 0.0.6 being any better than 0.0.3 because I've only used 0.0.6, but I've only tested it with the standard wavtool.
