It's makies a "thump" sound instead of singing for a few notes. I'm trying to make it sing rolling girl but in the part that goes "todo kanai yume mite" it doesn't sing "to","do" and "mi" so it's "(thump) (thump) kanai yume (thump) te". Here's a screenshot of the screen. It looks normal to me.

I have tried: tips resampler, doppeltler resampler, pressing initialize freq

Have you configured the oto.ini?
I did do the oto'ing and it still didn't work. I just downloaded a resampler called tips because that's what they were using in the jinriki utau tutorial I watched. After changing the resampler to tips, it sung all the notes but some of them sound distorted and/or out of tune.

is the modulation for any of the notes blank? if so try putting 0 for the modulation on them

did you try frqeditor?

this answer might be vague, but if nobody else's replies here help i would just try taking the original sample you used, amplify it in whatever software of your choice, and put it back into utau. sometimes it makes that thump noise for me if a sample isn't good or loud enough

Most of a time a thump will mean that the frq files are bad. If you edit the frq files with frqeditor, then you can most likely fix the thumping sound. Also if you delete the frq files and rerun the notes using doppeltler, then that might fix your problem too.
