Is using NiaoNiao worth it?

Now, for starters, I'd like to preface this with saying that I am a fan of what I can 'stylized realism' and have not listened or used Nianiao before. Is it at all worth getting? And are there any furry vocals in the engine, ideally in Japanese? (besides haiame sen i know he's there)

At this point, it's quite an old synthesizer that hasn't been maintained. You'll get better quality results from UTAU or even DeepVocal.

If you like realism, I don't recommend it. For that, there's AI Singers, from the same developer, and you can import banks from NIAONiao, which performs better.

I could, but I don't want to buy a program like that as I don't use Chinese much, and AIVoice is a paid program.
