Delete all FRQ files in a voicebank

BLACK STAR has some glitchy Doppeltler frq files and I need to regenerate them because they're screwing up Hifisampler. How can I do this?

FRQ files are physical files found in the voicebank's folders. You can simply delete them. Or, put a G flag on the offending notes to regrenerate those in specific.

Also, I believe that hifi doesn't use frq files from engines like doppeltler or resampler, and so the problem would be with hifi's independently generated files.

Oh that's not a problem with your vb, you just can't pitchsnap with hifi unless it's cv. And again, .frq files have nothing to do with hifi anyways.

Pitchsnap? I reset the pitchbends and it's still doing the thing.

It just does this randomly with certain USTs.

It looks fine. What is your velocity set to? High values tend to be the culprite most of the time for me.

100. I think it does this with all Utaformatix-converted USTs I have.

Utaformatix might be the issue. Have you set the modulation and/or modulation+ to 0?

Hifisampler doesn't read modulation values if I remember correctly?

Thank you for clearing up my confusion! I might try to see if Hifisampler is able to read modulation values or not. I don't have much experience with Hifisampler, however I do know that Utaformatix can set modulation to 100 when USTs are imported sometimes.

Maybe try making the pitchbends a bit longer? I can't think of much else aside from maybe hifi not working well with cvvc style voicebanks (although to be fair I have never used it with any cvvc style voicebanks)

i've used it with my cvvc voicebanks before, and it's worked nicely (at the same time, they're japanese, not english)

Then it might just be due to how small the transitions are. Perhaps just use a slightly different preset.

Fixed- the issue was the phonemizer. I used Lyrics Parser and then it rendered fine.
I may make a phonemizer just for AERIS and PIERO's English, to be honest.
