Agreement to the Terms

Upon becoming a member of UtaForum, you are expected to read, understand and abide by the following rules. This is to maintain a safe and welcoming space for our members. If you have any questions about the following, please feel free to contact an administrator.

The below code of conduct applies to all areas of the site (posts, profiles, signatures, etc.)

Any disruptive behavior reported either on- or off-site involving our users will be subject to disciplinary action.

In the case of subjective disputes, final decisions and determinations of whether something is an infraction will be left to the discretion of the moderation team.

Code of Conduct

• Be respectful.
  No discriminatory or inflammatory content, harassment or threats of any kind are allowed. Refusal to engage in basic courtesy, or obvious attempts to "stir the pot" or be disruptive, will result in disciplinary action.


• Keep things PG-13.
  No pornography, gore, shock imagery, or other such content is allowed on the forum, nor are any links to such content hosted offsite. Do not attempt to circumvent profanity filters.


• Abide by all software terms & licenses.
  UtaForum upholds all relevant software terms of service. This applies to the engines, voicebanks, plugins, and any other relevant software. No discussion of piracy or modifying commercial software.


• Respect others' rights to their work.
  Findings of art or other creative theft, or unauthorized reposting/redistribution, will not be tolerated.


• Follow board-specific guidelines.
  Some boards have their own rulesets. Be sure to check up on them before posting.


• Spam is not tolerated.
  Please post only if you have something meaningful to add to the conversation, and not simply a one-word response if it's avoidable. Flooding the chatbox with the same post over and over is also not tolerated.


• One account per user.
  No sockpuppeting or side accounts are allowed. If you need assistance changing your username or recovering your password please contact the forum staff. Duplicate accounts will be removed promptly.


• No manipulating forum mechanics.
  This is particularly important in regards to the UTAU Showcase and Resources. This includes but is not limited to manipulating likes, points, postcount, reviews, ratings, views, tokens, etc. in any way.


• Please keep signatures to a reasonable length.
  Excessively long signatures may be trimmed.

Infractions

Each infraction of the rules will be dealt with in accordance with its severity and the user’s past history of conduct. This includes limiting account features and timed temporary bans, or permanent bans if the infraction is deemed severe enough.

Zero Tolerance

Doing any of the following results in an immediate and permanent ban from the forum.

• Death threats and / or suicide encouragement
• Stalking another user
• Ban evasion
• Invasions or violations of privacy
• Willful hate speech / dehumanization

Terms of Service

The providers ("we", "us", "our") of the service provided by this web site ("Service") are not responsible for any user-generated content and accounts ("Content"). Content submitted express the views of their author only.

You agree to not use the Service to submit or link to any Content which is defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, spam or spam-like, likely to offend, contains adult or objectionable content, contains personal information of others, risks copyright infringement, encourages unlawful activity, or otherwise violates any laws.

All Content you submit or upload may be reviewed by staff members. All Content you submit or upload may be sent to third-party verification services (including, but not limited to, spam prevention services). Do not submit any Content that you consider to be private or confidential.

We reserve the rights to remove or modify any Content submitted for any reason without explanation. Requests for Content to be removed or modified will be undertaken only at our discretion. We reserve the right to take action against any account with the Service at any time.

You are granting us with a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, unlimited license to use, publish, or re-publish your Content in connection with the Service. You retain copyright over the Content.
